KPHS Band Booster Club Student Scholarships
Through fundraising efforts, part of the mission of the KPBB is to ensure that scholarships are available for graduating seniors. Distinguished student-musicians who exemplify excellence in academics, musical aptitude, and community service have the chance to be awarded a scholarship. These scholarships are granted based on a combination of leadership skills, academic achievements, exceptional moral character, and the demonstrated work ethic throughout their time at KPHS.

Before proceeding with your application, please familiarize yourself with the following scholarship guidelines. Your attention to these details determines whether or not your application is accepted. Deadline is Friday, 03 May.
Background
The KPHS Band Booster Club Scholarship was established by the KPHS Band Booster Club to recognize high school seniors who are actively enrolled in and contribute to the band program at KPHS. The KPBB will annually provide educational scholarships for graduating KPHS Band seniors, following specific criteria.
Purpose
The KPHS Band Booster Scholarship aims to assist students in pursuing their career goals through higher education. The monetary award is designed to alleviate a portion of the financial challenges associated with pursuing advanced education.
Scholarship Awards
The KPHS Band Booster Scholarship Committee, hereafter referred to as the KPBB Scholarship Committee, will assess each applicant based on established criteria, including band involvement, leadership, volunteer activities, participation in school and community activities, and scholastic merit. The KPBB Scholarship Committee will determine the recipients of the scholarships. The awards will be granted during the first semester of their freshman year (within the same year as graduation), deposited into the recipient's account at the college, university, or trade school of acceptance. The scholarship funds are exclusively designated for use in covering tuition and fees.
Scholarship Committee
The KPBB Scholarship Committee shall consist of members of the board and general membership desiring to serve on said committee, except for those members who are parents or guardians of senior students. The First Vice-President shall chair the scholarship committee. If the First Vice-President is a parent of a senior applying for a scholarship, the officers will appoint a replacement chairperson. Scholarships shall be awarded on the guidelines set forth by the KPBB Scholarship Committee on the application form each year.
