Volunteering

Band parent volunteers are the backbone of our band program, and volunteering is a lot of fun! Bookmark this page to access our 2023-2024 KPark Band Volunteer Opportunities (via SignUpGenius).

Humble ISD Volunteer Application

Volunteers in Humble ISD must complete an application and pass a background check annually. The form is available on the district website through this link and takes just a few minutes to complete. Please submit it today!

Current Opportunities

This is our largest fundraiser, and the money we raise goes directly to support the KPark and KMS Band Programs. Last year, we successfully raised approximately $35,000! As our program expands, we're aiming to increase that amount this year, and your involvement is vital as we work toward boosting our funds and making an even greater impact.

We eagerly welcome support from parents, siblings, family members, and friends. Each student is expected to complete three shifts. Remember that KPark Band students need to fulfill 12 service hours, while those in leadership roles should aim for 18 service hours. Parents, this is a valuable opportunity to assist your student in accumulating their service hours.

You must wear some type of hat and closed-toe shoes.

What We Do

  • Set Up Crew: Set up stands, food prep, wipe down counters, hang signs

  • Cashier: Take orders and process payments

  • Food Service: Make nachos and hot dogs; grab drinks and/or candy; basically, assemble orders

  • Closing Crew: Pack up items and wipe down area; bring everything back to KPark's pod (Turner Stadium only)

Additionally, we are actively searching for a Concessions coordinator and stand managers at KPark and Turner Stadium. These roles play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of our season. For further details, please reach out to Kelly Nieto at kparkbbpresident@gmail.com.

Don't hesitate to sign up today and contribute to filling the available time slots. We are looking forward to a successful and fun football season! We TRULY APPRECIATE everyone's help!

  • Translate design concepts into tangible props that align with our show themes.

  • Gain hands-on experience in prop construction, painting, and set-up.

  • Contribute to the excitement and magic of our marching band presentations.

  • Help unload, load, and setup the props at halftime shows and competitions.
